Ava's Reflections
Thanks to all those who made craft items, those who cut the fabric then sorted and bagged them, those who helped set-up, those who worked the day of the sale, to all who brought fixin's for lunch and a special THANKS to Pam Hunt who started it all when her bookshelf fell. I think it turned out to be a great sale. We made $1,417.00 (plus or minus $50)from the raffle quilt. For those who could not make it to the sale, the craft items will be for sale at our fundraising table. The books will be sold at a later date.
Again, our guild worked together to put on a good showing of who we are. I visited with several ladies who had been members a while back and ladies who didn't belong to a guild and invited them to check us out. We will have several visitors for our September meeting. Be sure and welcome them. Show them we are a guild that makes them feel welcome and that we are a fun group to be with.
